1. Publicity/Communications

   1. Jean and Kayla have volunteered to work on the Fall newsletter together. Newsletter will hopefully go out with ballots and dues notices in December.

2. Events

   1. Picnic Recap

      1. Gave out 176 wristbands for food.

      2. Had some food leftover; planned for 200 people.

      3. Event was over allotted budget, due to significant (and unforeseen) food cost increases.

   2. Halloween Parade

      1. Ray and his wife Katie are handling the event this year- thank you!

1. Maintenance

   1. Blinking pathway light was removed by FD Hayes.

   2. BHOA spent $200 on emergency wasp spraying at the shed. Company recommended that the area be caulk to prevent future occurrences.

2. Nominations

   1. Elizabeth will not be returning to the Board in February. Thank you for your service, Elizabeth!

   2. Jean has indicated that she is willing to continue serving the Board. Thank you, Jean.

   2. 2198 Heritage Ave. - Fence Installation 6 foot cedar - approved

   3. 3846 New Salem Ave. - camper - homeowner reached out that they were moving the camper tomorrow 10/12/22

   1. Jean spoke with Dan Dan Opsommer at the township about garden fees that will be waived, and can provide a detailed update at the November meeting.
